To be Slavic and queer is not easy, but good thing you’re not alone.
As a daughter of a Ukrainian immigrant, and the granddaughter of Croatian immigrants I understand the difficulties that come with existing in a community that won’t truly accept you.
I write about what it means to be Slavic and queer and my experiences as a lesbian in a community that isn’t willing to acknowledge you exist. Hopefully you find some comfort in knowing that queer Slavic women do exist, and we’re not going anywhere.
